As always, your comments are insightful. I'm encouraged that there are some voices in the inner sanctums of the government who understand that social media has a role in emergency response communications to the public. I recently participated in a conference call on behalf of one of my clients in which this very topic was discussed. Those lonely voices are becoming less lonely as more people in all walks of life understand the value of this extensive network that can be harnessed for the common good.
